Where does your first thought go when you think of Minnesota’s economy? In honor of National Small Business Week, the Minnesota Chamber would like to salute the contributions of small business to Minnesota’s economy. 

Minnesota United FC CEO Shari Ballard highlighted another incredible Women in Business event, this time at beautiful Allianz Field. Guests enjoyed a conversation with Shari moderated by Minnesota United FC color commentator Kyndra de St. Aubin on topics ranging from being a woman in leadership to what ties Minnesota United to Minnesota's economy and sense of community. 

Businesses across Minnesota are innovators, constantly improving their sustainability efforts and evolving to be as environmentally and socially conscious as possible.

In 2021, Minnesota’s total exports reached a record value of $23.5 billion, recovering strongly after a steep decline in 2020. International markets play a key role in helping Minnesota expand its diverse industry base, from agriculture and natural resources to equipment and machinery to semiconductors and medical goods.
