Biography Details

Lani joined the Energy Smart team in August of 2024. Lani enjoys connecting with small business owners and helping them reach their energy goals by conducting energy audits, identifying eligible rebates, and providing recommendations for energy savings programs and opportunities. Prior to working with Energy Smart, Lani worked for REI, a company committed to supporting sustainable practices and improving accessibility to the outdoors. She also completed a term with AmeriCorps NCCC serving in three different states focusing on projects in environmental conservation, disaster relief, and economic opportunity.

Lani graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. In her spare time, she enjoys swing dancing, climbing, hiking and crocheting.
