Biography Details

Jessie works with the Energy Smart team to support their work improving Minnesota businesses’ energy efficiency and financial savings. 

Before joining Energy Smart in 2021, Jessie worked for environmental education non-profits and focused on building a connection between people and the natural world around them. She has taught in southern Minnesota, in Montana with AmeriCorps and in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in California. 

Jessie graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies. In her free time, Jessie enjoys trying new baking recipes, walking the dog, and finding Minnesota’s native plants.
