Biography Details

Jessie connects Minnesota businesses to the sustainability services offered by the Waste Wise and Energy Smart teams. 

Before joining in 2021, Jessie worked for environmental education non-profits and focused on building a connection between people and the natural world around them. She has taught in southern Minnesota, in Montana with AmeriCorps and in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in California.  

Jessie graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies. In her free time, Jessie enjoys trying new baking recipes, walking the dog and finding Minnesota’s native plants.
