Biography Details

Derek is a lifelong Minnesotan who graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a major in Political Science and a minor in Communications. Prior to joining the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, he spent time interning and working for various political campaigns, as well as the Minnesota Senate. In addition, he spent several years working in both sales and management positions for a number of local home services companies in the Twin Cities.

When he’s not working, Derek enjoys watching Minnesota sports, working out, and spending time with friends, family and his golden retriever.
