Biography Details

Kristyn works with the AnokaBizRecycles program, which assists businesses and nonprofits in Anoka County in accessing grant funding to enhance waste reduction and management practices.  

Before joining the Waste Wise team in June of 2023, Kristyn received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management (B.S) and Science, Technology and Environmental Policy (M.S). Each summer, she worked for various environmental organizations, including The University of Minnesota Recycling Center. Kristyn has a particular interest in environmental education and serves as a steering committee member on the Recycling Education Committee of Minnesota.
