leadership

An exclusive look at Minnesota’s changing economy and the issues that will shape its future

Minnesota’s economic engine is powered by more than 100,000 businesses, a diverse landscape interconnected in ways not understood by the casual observer. For a select group, Leadership Minnesota opens the window to a behind-the-scenes look at what makes our state’s economy tick. This exclusive program also helps you understand how public policy crafted at the Capitol impacts the vitality of each and every Minnesota company. By establishing a rich network of Minnesota business leaders, your shared experiences make you more effective leaders at your workplace.

Tuition is $4,200 and includes overnight accommodations (one per session), meals, program materials and busing once at the initial destination. The exception is Session 1 that includes two overnights plus busing from the metro area with pickups along the way.  Participants have the option to stay the night before at their discretion.

Deadline to apply is May 8, 2026.

Ingrid Christensen

"When I look back on my career, my time in Leadership Minnesota stands out as a genuine turning point. It was so much more than professional development, it was like getting a backstage pass to the inner workings of our state. The program stripped away the headlines and took us straight to the heart of what drives Minnesota, from the innovative boardrooms to the power of the Iron Range and beyond. That kind of unparalleled perspective and personal access is simply invaluable.

Even a decade later, the lessons I learned and, more importantly, the relationships I forged, remain current and vital, shaping my decisions both professionally and personally. The true magic of the experience happens in the conversations between the formal tours, where the synergy created among a diverse group of leaders tackling shared challenges is unmatched. This investment forges a network of peers that lasts a lifetime, becoming an enduring resource and the driving force behind our shared commitment to Minnesota's continued success." - Ingrid Christensen, President + Founder, INGCO International, 2026-27 Leadership Minnesota chair
