Members share expertise in Manufacturers' Summit roundtables

The Minnesota Chamber continues to cement itself as the premier association for manufacturers with the 2025 Manufacturers' Summit and the Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota award this week.

As a part of the Summit, roundtable discussion opportunities were offered exclusively for manufacturers to connect with their peers and discuss solutions on key manufacturing issues. Manufacturing leaders from across Minnesota had the opportunity to attend roundtable sessions focused on specific topics.

  • Matt Johnson and Ryan Walstad from CLA led a discussion on solutions for mitigating tariff costs.

  • Ben Doyle from American Cystal Sugar, who was also a panelist at the Summit continued a discussion about workforce strategies for manufacturers.

  • Incentive programs and state assistance for business expansions was a highly attended session led by Justin Erickson of The Brookshire Company.

  • The topics were rounded out with a robust conversation about implementation of the Minnesota Paid Family and Medica Leave law, led by the Chamber’s own Lauryn Schothorst.

These roundtables were coordinated by the Minnesota Chamber Foundation’s Grow Minnesota! team to continue to provide business assistance and resources to manufacturers and businesses across the state.
