Biography Details

Maddy works with businesses and schools in Anoka County to implement and improve recycling and waste reduction programs. 

Maddy joined Waste Wise in January of 2020. Prior to joining Waste Wise, Maddy worked for Girl Scouts of Colorado, providing programing to girls in low-income schools by developing and implementing environmentally focused educational programs. Before that, Maddy worked for the city of Lino Lakes, where she implemented local waste diversion programs and educated the residents of on-going ways to reduce waste. Maddy has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Tampa and a Master of Arts in Environmental Education from Hamline University. 

In her free time, Maddy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, being outside and baking, as well as playing with her dogs.
