Minnesota Public Utilities Commission

The Minnesota Chamber is actively participating in several utility cases before the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. Our goal is to ensure that the increases are warranted and if granted, the costs do not fall disproportionately on business customers. Following are the cases and their respective deadlines.

Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency

» Most rate cases require PUC approval. The Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency increased its rates effective Jan. 1, 2006, and they do not require PUC approval.
