The Minnesota Chamber's Issue Conference annually reveals the economic trends and key priorities for the business community. For five years the Minnesota Business Barometer has provided a snapshot of statewide business issues and how these issues relate to the Minnesota Chamber member priorities. Major issues such as energy and global climate change, the future of Minnesota's K-12 education system and the implications of the constitutional amendment will be highlighted.

George Stephanopoulos, chief Washington correspondent for ABC News and host of its Sunday morning news show, 'This Week," will deliver the keynote speech at the Minnesota Chamber's Annual Meeting. He will share his predictions on the November 2008 presidential election as well as key congressional races including Minnesota's U.S. Senate contest.
The Minnesota Chamber's Annual Meeting provides an opportunity to recognize and thank member volunteers who share their time and expertise with our organization throughout the year. The 2007-2008 Chair of the Board Laurie Lewandowski, SJE-Rhombus, will pass the gavel to 2008-2009 Chair of the Board, Ginny Morris, Hubbard Radio. The new Board of Directors and committee leadership will be introduced.
