Recognition Programs:

MCCE is committed to recognizing best practices and quality programs. Recognition programs have included quality awards for newsletters, directories and web sites. MCCE recently implemented the "Great Idea Award" to recognize innovative new programs at chambers of commerce.

Mark of Excellence:

MCCE Mark of ExcellenceMark of Excellence is a local chamber accreditation program designed specifically for local chambers of commerce in Minnesota. Mark of Excellence is a three month process involving the volunteer leaders of an organization to ensure that the chamber has all the elements to run efficiently and effectively.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce Accreditation

The U.S. Chamber's Accreditation Program is the only national program that recognizes chambers for effective organizational procedures and outstanding contributions toward positive change in their communities. The purpose of the U.S. Chamber's Accreditation Program is to facilitate continuing excellence in the chamber industry and to foster a pro-business environment across America. Minnesota Chamber Certification Program (MCCP):

MCCE has developed a certification program for Minnesota executives. Successful completion requires achievement of proficiency areas, participation and leadership at state and national conferences, and a number of other measurements that demonstrate a high level of capability and commitment to the profession.

New Executive Support:

Through our mentoring program as well as MCCE's annual New Executive Orientation session, strong career support is provided to new executives.

Executive Exchange:

This program allows chamber executives and staff to participate in an exchange, or shadowing program to learn about other chamber operations and programs over a day or two.

Professional Consultation:

The professional consultation program provides the opportunity to talk one-on-one with a peer leader in a confidential setting. Discuss issues raised during a conference session or address a professional challenge that you are facing.
