Leadership Minnesota

Thirty business leaders will learn firsthand what makes Minnesota tick in this program exclusive to the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and its members. The program, in its sixth year, will kick off its 2006-07 series in September with five, two-day sessions.

Leadership Minnesota is educational. Participants gain a better understanding of the dynamics of our statewide economy. It also is an excellent opportunity to meet and establish a network with business leaders from across the state. The program provides a comprehensive look at the national and global pressures facing specific industries and the state’s broader economy. They better understand how public policy is crafted in St. Paul and the impact it has on the state’s economy. Participants bring those experiences back to their workplaces to make them more effective leaders within their own companies.

Leadership Minnesota seeks individuals with a record of success in business and community. Applicants must demonstrate a strong concern for the future of business in Minnesota and a personal commitment to help shape that future. The selection committee will seek a diverse group representative of the different industries in Minnesota.
